Go through the Harry Potter Pensieve Experience at NYCC 2018

New York Comic-Con 2018 is a few short weeks away. There are going to be a lot of interactive experiences and one of those is the Harry Potter Pensieve Experience.

Ever wanted to see what it’s like to go through the Pensieve? Well, you can find out with the Harry Potter Pensieve Experience. New York Comic-Con 2018 is just a few short weeks away and one of the highly anticipated interactive experiences is this.

We knew there had to be something, right? This is the 20^th anniversary after all and so many other conventions are making a huge deal about it, SDCC, C2E2, they’ve all been doing it. NYCC’s experience is going to be bigger than ever and everything a Potterhead has dreamed.

Pottermore Publishing and Audible have joined together to bring the multi-sensory interactive experience. You’ll get the chance to experience the Pensieve, where memories can be relived. First introduced to Harry in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the Pensieve allowed Harry to witness other people’s memories as if he was physically there when it happened.

Okay, so it’s not going to be your memories, but they’re directly connected to the Harry Potter universe. You’ll be able to select a character from the books to immerse yourself in an audio journey of their most memorable moments from the Audible audiobooks. Pick your favorite character, or the one that you just find most intriguing. It’s completely up to you!

The Harry Potter Pensieve Experience is open to NYCC 2018 con-goers from Oc. 4 to Oct. 6 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and then Oct. 7 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Everything is at the Javits Convention Center, so you don’t have to go far!

Audible has a collection of Harry Potter books on the site. You can listen to all seven with Jim Dale reading the novels and then Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with our own Newt Scamander, Eddie Redmayne, reading. Andrew Lincoln and Natalie Dormer read Quidditch Through the Ages and Harry Potter: A History of Magic respectively on Audible.
