If you’re not going to New York Comic-Con, you’ll want to head west. Harry Potter star Tom Felton is heading to Wizard World Sacramento for the convention weekend.
*Update, Sept. 20, Wizard World Sacramento has now been canceled. Official notice was made via the convention itself.*
October 5-7 is going to be one exciting weekend. For many of us, it marks New York Comic-Con, which is set to see the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stars. But if you want to see one of the original stars, you’ll want to go west for Wizard World Sacramento.
Tom Felton is one of the guests at the multi-fandom convention. Wizard World Sacramento placed him front and center in the three-guest announcement last week. Legends of Tomorrow’s Matt Ryan and The Incredible Hulk’s Lou Ferrigno were also included in the announcement.
Guests are still being added to the event, which is a relatively new addition to the Wizard World convention line-up. Luke Cage’s Mike Colter and American Pie’s Thomas Ian Nicholas are also scheduled for appearances.

While the convention is for the whole weekend, our favorite Slytherin will only be there for one day. He’s scheduled for the Saturday and there will likely be photo ops and autographs. He can’t be there for the whole weekend, as he’s attending New York Comic-Con to promote his new series, the YouTube Original Origin with fellow Harry Potter star Natalie Tena.

A full schedule isn’t available yet for photo ops and autographs. Felton may also have a panel where he talks about his time on Harry Potter and sneaks some of his new series in there, but time will tell. We’ll keep you updated with this news.
Of course, there is always the chance of cancellation when it comes to conventions. Don’t just book your tickets for the one actor there. Take a look at other guests, including Entertainment, Comic, and Literary guests, as tickets aren’t refunded due to guest cancellations.
