The House with a Clock in its Wall is filled with Easter Eggs from all different fandoms throughout the movie and yes, that includes Harry Potter.

The House with a Clock in its Wall is scheduled to premiere in just a few days now and Eli Roth has been on the promotional campaign for the movie. Discussing with Fandom about what you can expect, he also explained about a certain Harry Potter Easter Egg that has been hidden in the movie.

Based on a 1970’s children book, Roth highlighted that there are a lot of similarities with Harry Potter and The House with a Clock in its Wall, but there is only one true Easter Egg.

And it involves Cate Blanchett’s character and her umbrella; and that there is this one thing she does with her umbrella that is what Hagrid does with his famous pink umbrella in Harry Potter.

Roth explains that they noticed the comparison straight away but decided to leave it in the movie, that way it would be their little nod to Wizarding World.

The House with a Clock in its Wall has already been reported for containing many Easter Eggs.
