We’ve known about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first royal tour for a few months, but we’ve got all the details now on what the newlyweds will be up to.

Following the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May, it was announced that the two would venture out on their first royal tour in October. The Palace has finally revealed exactly what this first tour will entail for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, according to E! News.

From October 16 until the 31st, the royal couple will be visiting Australia, New Zealand, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Fiji. The tour stops were decided based upon invitations from the countries they will be visiting.

According to Kensington Palace, the governments of both New Zealand and Australia asked for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to tour the commonwealth. The Foreign and Commonwealth offices for both Fiji and Tonga also issued invitations to the royal couple for a tour.

The focus of the tour, according to the Royal website, will be on, “youth leadership, environmental and conservation efforts — including the dedication of several new Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy projects — and the recovery and rehabilitation of servicemen and women through the Invictus Games Sydney 2018.”

Considering how closely Prince Harry has worked with the Invictus Games, it makes sense that part of the focus for the tour would be bringing more awareness to the games and their purpose. Plus, the royal couple is known for their dedication to causes such as conservation and youth empowerment.

While the Palace did not reveal all of the details of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first royal tour, more information is expected soon. For now, we have both the purpose for the tour and its schedule, including where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be on each day of their 16-day royal tour (noted below).
