Wizarding Wednesdays back with Harry Potter prizes and more

It’s time to get ready for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and what better way than with some Harry Potter prizes? That’s what Wizarding Wednesdays are for!

Wizarding Wednesdays are back over at the Fantastic Beasts Twitter page. This is a chance for Harry Potter fans to win some fun prizes, including the chance to see Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald at the Paris or London premiere.

Before getting into the prizes, it’s worth pointing out that Wizarding Wednesdays are only for UK and Irish residents. Those outside of the countries will need to wait for other giveaways, but they are coming!

The first big prize is the chance to go to the premiere of Fantastic Beasts 2. After all, the magical prizes are all about celebrating the upcoming movie release, along with the 20^th anniversary of the North American release of the first Harry Potter novel.

Some of the other upcoming prizes include tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at London’s West End (with the opportunity to meet the cast), a signed Fantastic Beasts 2 poster, and even the opportunity to be an extra on Fantastic Beasts 3. Who doesn’t want that last prize?

What are all the prizes?

All 10 prizes have been announced. They are in order:

1. The premiere of Fantastic Beasts 2
2. Two tickets for Cursed Child and meet the cast (runners-up get regional tickets for Fantastic Beasts 2 regional premiere)
3. The Ultimate Platform 9 ¾ Experience at London’s Kings Cross Station (runners-up get the Platform 9 ¾ trunk)
4. Signed Crimes of Grindelwald poster (runners-up get regional premiere tickets)
5. Paris Crimes of Grindelwald premiere, inc. two nights in Paris and all train tickets/plane fare (runners-up a regional premiere)
6. Tour of the London Dark Arts Experience at the Warner Bros. Studio, including Great Hall dinner, hotel and travel costs (runners-up History of Magic audiobook)
7. Private screening of Fantastic Beasts 2 for you and up to 50 guests (runners-up get the regional premiere tickets)
8. London premiere of the Crimes of Grindelwald movie (runners-up get regional tickets)
9. Exclusive MinaLima print signed by Miraphora Mina & Eduardo Lima (runners-up get the MinaLima book)
10. Be a Fantastic Beasts 3 extra with a three-night stay in London and an exclusive set visit

When are the prizes and winners announced?

Prizes launch every Wednesday, with the winner for that prize, announced the following Wednesday. So, the prize for this week has already been announced and the draw is open. The winner will be announced next Wednesday when the prize draw for the tickets to the Cursed Child opens. Cursed Child winners will be announced Sept. 19, when the third prize is opened.

You get the idea now, right?

This continues all the way up to prize 10, which is the chance to be an extra on the set of Fantastic Beasts 3. The prize winner will be announced on Nov. 14, two days before the opening of Crimes of Grindelwald in theaters worldwide.
