Grab your tissues, everyone. Antoni Porowski and Tan France weighed in on how Queer Eye fans are going to be even more emotional this upcoming season.
If you haven’t seen Netflix’s Queer Eye yet, you’re certainly missing out. The popular show premiered back in February, and fans couldn’t get enough of it. Featuring the talents of Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski and Tan France, this amazing group (also known as the Fab 5) transforms the lives of those who wish to make a change in their lifestyle.
The first 2 seasons of the show were filmed in Georgia, however, season 3 is going to be a little different. Taking place in Kansas City, Missouri, the next season will continue to work with and focus on “inclusivity and diversity” according to Antoni Porowski.
While talking to E! News, Porowski gave fans a little more insight into the highly anticipated season 3:
"I think people are going to see a lot of differences in Kansas City, but they’re going to see maybe more and understand a little more clearly that we are all the same, our struggles are the same, to show up for our families, to be better lovers, friends, parents, children, like these are all human experiences. It doesn’t matter which coast or which country you’re in, it’s all something you can relate to."
Fans are no stranger to the emotional side of the show. Even some of the members of the Fab 5 have been known to express their emotions on camera. But according to France, he has yet to shed any tears on the show.
“I’m a very emotional person when it comes to jolliness, happiness. I don’t cry very often, and I have yet to cry on this show,” he said.
One thing’s for sure, the Fab 5 guys have totally been making a difference in the lives of the people they meet. And Porowski was right: at the end of every episode, they’re really able to connect with the people they’re helping, all differences aside.
