When fans learned Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would go to Australia, there were questions over whether the original stars of the play would go with them. Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley, and Noma Dumezweni continued to play their roles of Harry, Ron, and Hermione respectively when the production moved from London’s West End to New York’s Broadway.

The casting for the Australian production has finally been announced. While it’s great news and there are some awesome actors being added, there’s bad news for those who hoped to see the original stars in the roles. They’re not moving Down Under for this stint.
