It looks like the wizarding world still has it. Fantastic Beasts 2 has been named by fans as the most anticipated movie of fall 2018.

While the books and the original set of movies may be done, Harry Potter and the wizarding world are still relevant. Fantastic Beasts 2 is officially the most anticipated movie of fall 2018. At least, that’s according to the people of Fandango.

During a survey, 1,000 audience members admitted that they were looking forward to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the most out of all the other fall 2018 releases. We really shouldn’t be that surprised, should we? This is still one of the most relevant magical worlds ever created. Talk to anyone and they’ll likely be able to tell you the house they belong in.

More from Harry Potter

What makes this particular movie so highly anticipated? I’m going with the fact that Jude Law is playing Young Albus Dumbledore. While nobody can replace the Dumbledore we’ve come to know and love, seeing a Harry Potter prequel version of him is awesome.

Then there’s the fact that there has been so much promotion for the movie. Images of Eddie Redmayne, Law, and baby Nifflers are everywhere. With all this promotion, it’s hard not to get excited, even if you are someone who isn’t into the wizarding world.

Topping it all off has to be the fact that this remains a family-friendly franchise. New fans are reading the novels every day and this is another way to introduce younger viewers to the world of Harry Potter.
