Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery: Is Ben Cooper the Dark Wizard?

A Dark Wizard exists in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery whose identity has been hidden until now. Is Ben Cooper the Dark Wizard?
If you are playing Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery then you know all about the Dark Wizard. For anybody who isn’t playing the mobile game but is reading this, a Dark Wizard exists in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.
Ok, so now that is out of the way, the identity of the Dark Wizard, which has been unknown since the beginning of the game, may have finally been revealed as Gryffindor Ben Cooper. Year 4, Chapter 15 “A Dark Secret” is where this all takes place, and the Dark Secret is where we learn that the Dark Wizard is unmasked as Ben.

Thing is, Ben doesn’t seem the type? A Gryffindor student that is pretty much Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter stories, he hardly seems the type to be the Dark Wizard with all of the anxiety issue and literally being afraid of his own shadow.
So whats going on?
Two solutions spring to mind. Number one, Ben is like Professor Quirrell from the first novel; a.k.a he appears to be nothing but a stuttering, blubbering idiot who couldn’t hurt a fly but in reality, is an evil dark wizard.

Number two, Ben has been the victim of the Imperius curse and is doing everything against his will.
I am going with option two, mainly because of how confused Ben appears when you unmask him. He has that demeanor of someone who does not know what is going on.
Now yes, he could very well be putting on an act for us all, but I really don’t think he is. I think that the real Dark Wizard is still out there and Ben has been nothing but a pawn in a very large game.
