Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be guests of honor at a gala performance of Hamilton, along with Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are about to be in the room where it happens!

Today on Twitter, Sentebale, a charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of the Basotho Royal Family in 2006, announced that there will be a special charity performance of Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

The fundraising gala, which will be held on August 29, will have a few special guests. Hamilton‘s founding father Lin-Manuel Miranda is set to attend, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!

Sentebale is an organization that is dedicated to helping children with HIV and AIDS deal with both their overall well being and mental health. As part of that effort, the organization is putting on the special Hamilton event, which will benefit the Princes’ Foundation.

The goal of the event, according to a follow-up tweet from Sentebale is to raise much-needed funds for not only awareness of the organization but also towards the work needed to help these children.

Ultimately, this is a well-deserved cause and a much-loved musical coming together in an effort to raise money for those in need in South Africa. With Hamilton being as beloved as it is, and with a mix of inspiring messages, it’s the perfect choice to raise money for such an important and auspicious charity. Considering the prince is one of the founders of Sentebale and the Princes’ Foundation for Children in Africa, it makes sense that he would be in attendance at the gala.

And while Sentebale made the announcement on their Twitter page about the Duke and Duchess attending the Hamilton fundraiser, they were not alone. The Kensington Palace Twitter page also posted a tweet about the royal couple taking part in the evening.

That was not the only announcement made regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as other engagements were also posted to Twitter.

Following the special performance of Hamilton for the Sentable charity, the couple will also be in attendance on September 4 at the Well Child Awards. This event will be held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. The Duke of Sussex is a patron of the charity, which helps to raise funds for the families of children who are seriously ill.

Then on September 6, the royal couple will also attend a music gala for Help for Heroes, Combat Stress, and Heads Together in commemoration of the end of World War I. The 100 Days to Peace gala will take place at Central Hall and is presented by the Royal Armouries.

Based on these Twitter posts, it looks to be a busy few weeks for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. From seeing Hamilton with Lin-Manuel Miranda for the Princes’ Foundation, to the Well Child Awards and the 100 Days to Peace Gala, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will clearly be on the go and busy.

We just hope they have time to get a selfie, or some fanciful photo, with Miranda and the Hamilton cast.
