Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Duelling Club finally fixed

Love the idea of the PvP Duelling Club but hate the strict ticketing system? Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has finally fixed the issue, so everyone can enjoy playing something outside the main story.

There are times in games where you want to leave the main story and focus more on the side missions. Or you want to do challenges against other players. That’s something Jam City introduced into Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery a few weeks ago with the Duelling Club.

What initially sounded awesome turned into a bit of a faff. A strict ticketing system meant that it wasn’t a fun way to play against other real-life players in the middle of your Year’s story.

When the Duelling Club first opened, players were given three tickets. Each duel lost would mean the loss of a ticket. Think of it as a three strikes and you’re out policy. However, you could obtain more tickets, if you had enough gems (the in-game currency) to buy them. That would be great if coming by gems was easy.

The new Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery update aims to solve that with ticket recycling. Every three hours, you’ll regenerate new tickets, so you can use them to duel later. This gives you time to get a new strategy and take part in a bit more of the story.

Of course, as with everything, there is a catch. This latest update is only going to be around for three days, so you’ll need to get into it fast and make the most of it. What comes after that isn’t clear.
