Harry Potter: A History of Magic reveals companion book cover

Harry Potter: A History of Magic is heading to New York and prior to its arrival a companion book has been created and its front cover has been revealed.

It was a huge success in Britain and now it is on the way to New York City. Come October this year, the Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibition will be at the New York Historical Society Museum and Library. Prior to its arrival, a companion book has been designed and we can now get a look at its front cover.

Published by Scholastic and available as a book and e-book, the design would please our magical history teacher, Professor Bins, as the book has been designed with both History and Magic in mind.

A design that compliments the actual exhibition as well because not only does Harry Potter: A History of Magic celebrate the history of Harry Potter, but also real-life magical history as well.

The exhibition is to differ very slightly too when it has held in Britain at the British Library. An American twist has been added. Illustrations by Brian Selznick, the illustrator behind the 20th anniversary Harry Potter covers have been added, along with works from Mary GrandPre, who created the very first Harry Potter covers for the American editions of the books.
