Chrissy Teigen consulted Twitter to identify a terrifying bug she played with

Twitter users’ reactions to Chrissy’s latest thread have ranged from amusement to completely freaked out (and it’s clear to see why).

We all love Chrissy Teigen (aka the Queen of social media and trolling haters). Everyday, we look forward to what the hilarious entrepreneur has to say next and there is never any disappointment.

Most recently, she took to Twitter with a very specific challenge in mind for her followers: identify a bug that she played with. Although it was a simple enough challenge, the results were, well, mixed.

The video has since gained over a million views and generated several responses to try and figure out what the heck that thing was, and whether or not we should stay in the house forever to avoid bugs. Fans of the model and “Super Mom” were, of course, terrified that such a huge bug could exist and offered up names that they thought would better suit the creature.

Chrissy hilariously added to the mix by adopting a new name for herself which furthered our love for her:

Not long afterward, fans finally threw out the idea of it being a Tarantula Hawk Wasp, one of the most dangerous wasps out there with a powerful and painful sting.

This became the most popular answer to Chrissy’s question, and someone even changed the Tarantula Hawk Wasp’s Wikipedia page to seal the deal

But there were others that offered up some ideas as to why it was so docile and didn’t attack

Finally, Chrissy asked if there were any experts out there to identify the so-called “wasp” and, luckily, there were:

It’s hard to say whether or not this identification is 100 percent accurate, but it certainly does make us feel a lot better. While the subject may have been put to bed at this point, we’re just glad that Chrissy was okay and didn’t get stung — or else it’d be like an episode of Breaking Trail from Brave Wilderness.
