Cormoran Strike becomes the target in the latest adaptation of the novels by J.K. Rowling, under the pen name Robert Galbraith. C.B. Strike Season 3, Episode 1 adapts the first half of “Career of Evil,” which will start with the office receiving a parcel that contains a dismembered leg. If that isn’t shocking enough, Strike thinks he knows who that leg belongs to.
We get more details about Strike’s life when he was in the Army. So far, we’ve only had a few snippets of that life linked to his leg. The books delve into a little more as he thinks of the past, but for the most part, it’s revealed in more detail in this third book. Now we’ll get to see it all play out, along with just how he knows the three potential suspects in the crime.
It’s not just the Army that we get to learn more about. This is a chance to delve more into Strike’s home life. We’ve seen him with his sister, but what about his mom and stepdad? What about those who shaped him into the man that he has become?

Throughout the episode, Robin will also need to decide whether her wedding is going ahead. After everything Matthew put her through, she’s not too sure about her future with him. Does this mean the wedding is definitely off? Is there hope for the two to get back together? Considering the attitude, I spent the whole book hoping not but you’ll have to wait until the end to find out.
