Chris Hemsworth shares new shirtless pictures… to promote his new film

Chris Hemsworth has shared some new rather attractive photos of himself sans a shirt. But don’t worry, they’re to promote a new movie he has coming out, so it’s okay.

We get it, Chris Hemsworth. You have an attractive physique. But do we complain? Nope! That’s why we were so delighted when you dropped some photos on Friday that can only be described as “superb eye candy.”

Okay, Hemsworth didn’t really post the photos to promote how hard he’s been working out at the gym. They’re actually promotional photos for one of his newest films that’s not an Avengers movie.

The latest movie from the actor is called Bad Times at the El Royale, directed by Drew Goddard. In the photo’s caption, Hemsworth shared, “It was one of the best scripts I’ve ever read and I can’t wait for you all to see it.”

And oh, it gets better.

The Aussie actor also shared another photo of himself (shirtless) with a brief synopsis of the movie. Also, don’t get too distracted looking at him in the picture or you’ll miss co-star Dakota Johnson off in the background.

In the movie, Hemsworth will play a cult leader with some secrets who meets with several others at a Lake Tahoe hotel. So much for thinking the photos looked overwhelmingly romantic. Being shirtless in the rain? Frolicking through a field of flowers? If it wasn’t going to be a romance movie, an R&B or country music video would have been our next guess.

While the story for the movie has been a bit vague, as director Goddard told Entertainment Weekly, we can expect it to be a lot more straightforward than his last team up with Hemsworth, Cabin in the Woods.

So we’ll be gladly looking forward to this movie when it comes out in theaters on October 5. It seems like it’ll be a thrilling movie given what’s to come, plus or minus Hemsworth appearing shirtless in a couple scenes.
