You can catch your own dinosaurs with Jurassic World Alive just in time for Fallen Kingdom

Like pretending dinosaurs are still around and we can catch them? Well Jurassic World has quite the game for you.

With Jurassic World hitting theaters this June, everyone is talking about dinosaurs. Not that we’re complaining, who doesn’t love a good dino? But now, there seems to be even more games and product placement for the film.

The latest? A Pokémon Go-inspired game called Jurassic World Alive where you catch dinosaurs. No, really, it’s just that simple. Now, if you weren’t hip with the times when Pokémon Go became a hit, let us explain. You basically go outside, try and find dinosaurs, and then go fight with them

Or at least that is what it looks like and honestly, that’s fine. What fun it would be to catch a T-rex and watch as it takes on the raptors. For many, we grew up with the Jurassic Park franchise, and while dinosaurs have their own fans, this series brought our favorite prehistoric creatures to life in a whole new way. For many, it was our first introduction to dinosaurs, and it was how we all fell in love as well.

So now, this franchise is giving us a game where we can see dinosaurs in real life? Count us in! Granted, we know they’re not really there, but if I can pretend a triceratops is in front of me, I’m going to do it.

The only problem? You have to pay $9.99 a month if you want extended options. So, you can see dinosaurs– but at a price. (Which maybe it is a price worth paying?) If not, at least the idea of running around and catching dinos is fun!

You can see Jurassic Word: Fallen Kingdom in theaters this June 22, and guess what? We still haven’t learned not to make more dangerous dinosaurs. But at least Ian Malcolm is back to help!

So while we wait to see him in the movie, we can play the game in the meantime. It’s available for download on the App Store and Google Play now.
