New swag seen in a picture from behind the scenes of Daredevil’s season 3 seems to confirm that Bullseye will be appearing as new villain.
It sounds like Daredevil fans might be seeing one of the hero’s classic comic book villains hitting the small screen when season 3 returns to Netflix. Recently, pictures of Daredevil swag have begun circulating that seem to confirm the presence of Bullseye in the upcoming third season.
According to ScreenRant, a recent report also had Wilson Bethel playing the villain Bullseye, although Marvel has not yet confirmed that idea. Instead, Bethel has been cast as an incoming FBI agent. While rumors may have the character also portraying the villain Bullseye, this is not set in stone.
At the same time, the idea of Bullseye popping up as the villain in Daredevil season 3 is not completely crazy. In a since-deleted post on Instagram, one of the costume designers for both Jessica Jones and Daredevil shared a picture of swag they got after the season wrapped. The picture showed the series’ logo, with season 3 above it, and a bullseye symbol under the first few letters of the show’s name on the back of a black jacket.
The bullseye that was seen on the jacket is the same one used to represent the character in the comics. Further fueling the rumors is the fact that the picture was deleted after getting so much attention, and basically fueling the rumors of Bullseye’s apparent involvement in the show’s third season.
Right now, all we have is rumors and the picture of Daredevil swag to work with when it comes to the speculation over the inclusion of Bullseye in season 3. With the way Defenders left our hero, recovering in a convent after a building fell on his head, there are plenty of questions that still need to be answered. While the third season might stem from the storyline of Born Again, it remains to be seen if Bullseye really is showing up to cause problems for Matt Murdock/Daredevil.
While Marvel is not confirming anything yet in terms of who the villain or villains of season 3 will be, all the clues are there for Bullseye making his presence known. Whether or not Wilson Bethel’s FBI agent is also Bullseye remains to be seen, but if it is true, he might be the perfect choice to come up against a newly returned Daredevil.

Plus, with season 1 bad guy, Wilson Fisk, set to return in the third season (again), it sounds like Daredevil is going to have his hands full no matter who he has to go up against. With so many bad guys popping out of the woodwork, one would think that Matt Murdock might want to stick around the convent he has apparently been recovering in for as long as possible.
