Daniel Radcliffe wraps New Zealand portion of production on new movie

Daniel Radcliffe’s new movie has wrapped production in New Zealand. However, you can expect to see the actor back at some stage.

If you’ve seen photos of Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe in his underwear, a dressing gown, and animal slippers, don’t worry too much! He’s definitely not lost his mind. He’s been working on a new movie in New Zealand, called Guns Akimbo. Production for the movie in New Zealand and now wrapped, but you may just see him dressed similarly in Germany, as that’s where he’ll be for more movie filming for the next five weeks.

Those who didn’t get to see the actor in person during his time in Auckland won’t have to worry about never seeing him again. He’s already shared that he’s coming back for a holiday at some point and definitely wants to visit Queenstown. Despite filming in the area, he didn’t get the chance to explore too far because of the schedule, but certainly wants to.

More from Harry Potter

Radcliffe has had nothing but good things to say about Auckland and he certainly immersed himself in the culture. While he ate out at a few hot spots, he opted for local grocery shopping and joined a local gym to keep himself in shape. He also had extremely good things to say about working with the crew in the area.

Little is known about Guns Akimbo so far, but production is moving to Munich, Germany for five weeks. Jason Lei Howden is directing the movie, who is best known for Deathgasm. Radcliffe will play main protagonist Miles, who needs to save his ex-girlfriend in a Gladiator-style battle. The actor shares that it’s going to be an action movie. We’d just love to know the reason for running around in his underwear and animal slippers!
