4. Their first meeting will make you smile

Selena and Taylor have been friends since 2008. But it wasn’t until last year that Gomez spilled the friendship tea on how the celebrity BFFs met. Selena revealed that she and Taylor met through the Jonas brothers, who they both were dating at the same time.

“We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together!” gushed Gomez. “It was hysterical.”

5. They slay on the red carpet as each other’s adorable dates

Swift and Gomez know that they don’t need men (sorry, Jonas Brothers) to stun on the red carpet. One of Taylor’s and Selena’s most famous red carpet appearances took place at the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards.  From their fashion to their friendship, Gomez and Swift simply slayed.
