Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Experience the music of the movie live

Following the success of the first two movies, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the latest movie of the franchise to get the live music treatment.

While the Harry Potter books and movies may be over, the world still lives on. Even without new releases at the cinema (and right now the Fantastic Beasts don’t count, as they don’t have the Boy Who Lived) the world has grown to something that likely surpasses J.K. Rowling’s imagination. The world also lives on through the music.

And that music is coming to life once more with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban live. Fans will be able to attend the movie screening that features a live orchestra playing out the music as the movie airs. It’s an epic experience, which has grown in popularity since the first performance of The Philosopher’s Stone.

Montreal will bring the third movie’s music to life. The city is one that hosts a number of Harry Potter events, so that really isn’t too surprising. However, you will need to get your tickets fast if you plan on attending. The last two times they have sold out extremely quickly and there are only two days available: June 1 and 2.

As it’s Montreal, there will be French subtitles to the film. That means both English-speaking and French-speaking individuals can enjoy the full experience while listening to the real reasons you’re going: to see the live orchestra play out the music of this exciting movie.

The movie is also set up in a way that’s like a real concert. There’s a 20-minute interval in the middle of the movie, which has worked well the previous times.
