Pottermore has released The Battle of Hogwarts timeline

To mark the anniversary, Pottermore has unveiled The Battle of Hogwarts timeline.

So much happened during The Battle of Hogwarts that you can be forgiven for forgetting the odd detail and especially the order of events. Every year, on the anniversary of the wizarding battle to end all battles, we mark the occasion in a special way. This year, Pottermore decided to release The Battle of Hogwarts timeline.

Detailing the events from start to finish. The timeline describes all the of the significant moments and the order in which they happened.

The Battle of Hogwarts timeline

From the moment Harry, Ron, and Hermione returned to Hogwarts. From when Professor McGonagall cast “Pierotum Locomotor!”

It also includes the horrifying moments that we wish never would have happened. Fred Weasley’s death. Professor Lupin and Tonks.

It follows The Battle of Hogwarts right up to the final moments where Harry took his lonely walk through the Forbidden Forest, right up to Lord Voldemort, where he sacrificed himself. A moment that allowed The Battle of Hogwarts to be swung in their favor. Enabling everyone to put up one final stand and defeat the dark lord and his followers.
