Jace’s secret is finally out and the race is on to find and stop Lilith. Here’s what we can expect on this week’s Shadowhunters.
The Institute is making progress on discovering Lilith. But on this week’s Shadowhunters, the pressure’s on to step things up.
Last week, Clary, Magnus and Luke finally learned that Jace is indeed the Owl. They had him seemingly cornered before he climbed a wall and escaped. Now they’re really on the clock.
SHADOWHUNTERS – “Salt In The Wound” – With the OwlÕs identity revealed, Alec, Isabelle, and Clary head to Alicante to try and find a way to stop him. Luke and Simon team up to track LilithÕs latest possible victim. Maia reflects on her past. This episode of “Shadowhunters” airs Tuesday, May 1 (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. EDT) on Freeform. Lilith’s plan to resurrect Jonathan is almost complete, and when it is, Jace’s days are numbered. She’s already made it clear that she doesn’t want or need him past that point. Jace is still in there deep down but has no control over himself. So, it’s up to his friends to save him.
But the young Shadowhunters might be a bit out of their depth on this one.

Ollie has been a bit of a nuisance this season, but it was still rough to see her become Lilith’s final disciple. Hopefully, Luke can find and contain her. What’s unclear is why Simon is on the mission too.
It could be because he’s in hot water with Maia this week, and avoiding her. In fairness, he didn’t know that Kyle was actually Jordan Kyle, Maia’s toxic ex. But in the grand scheme of things, that might not matter much.
There’s the possibility that Luke and Simon are tracking a different victim of Lilith’s, but it’s slim.
