J.K. Rowling defends lack of Brexit stamps, getting Piers Morgan’s attention

When Christopher Hope asked a question about the lack of Brexit stamps, J.K. Rowling jumped straight in with a reason. That caught Piers Morgan and it looks like another Twitter fight will happen.

J.K. Rowling and Piers Morgan make it no secret they don’t like each other. They constantly go at each other on Twitter with their opposing views. So, it’s no surprise that the two are on the opposite side when Daily Telegraph journalist, Christopher Hope, asked about the lack of Brexit stamps. And you can surely guess who is on each side.

The argument started due to Royal Mail releasing a set of stamps featuring various owls. The stamps are supposed to be a small way to commemorate the beautiful animals, but like everything on Twitter it has to come down to Brexit (or Trump sometimes, but this time Brexit).

Hope wanted stamps to commemorate the split from the EU. So, J.K. Rowling offered her unadulterated opinion on the matter. Needless to say, she isn’t on the side of Brexit and had a comedic twist with the reasoning. That quickly led to her fans jumping in with a few ideas that could sum up her points of view.

Where does Piers Morgan fit into this? Well, he decided to attack Rowling for her views. I guess it’s only fair since Rowling did technically attack someone first for their views. This time Morgan did bring up Trump. See, the arguments always come down to the two of them! This likely won’t be the end to this since the two can never seem to just agree to disagree.

What do you think of the owl stamps? What would you like to see commemorated in stamps next? How about some Harry Potter ones? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
