The limit does not exist for how much we love Tina Fey surprising Mean Girls fans
Tina Fey has inspired many people, and now they get the chance to tell her how much they love her. Watch as fans get the surprise of their lives!
Tina Fey is a true goddess and everyone wants to share their love for her. That’s exactly what several lucky fans got to do recently in New York City during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They got the surprise of their life from the Mean Girls writer and producer Tina Fey.
Fans of Tina Fey stood in front of a Mean Girls musical poster to say how much they love her. What they didn’t know was that Fey and Jimmy Fallon were listening in to surprise the fans at any moment!
One woman said, “Tina I’ve been a fan for years. Thank you for your humor, madness, and inspiration to young women like my niece and even to us older mean girls.” Another said, “You taught me: don’t let haters stop you from doing your ‘thang’.”
Then, Tina Fey came out and some of the fans started crying. It was a bit awkward on Jimmy Fallon’s end since he was basically ignored (I love you, Jimmy!)
There was even a point where Tina Fey walked out and fell over! Jimmy Fallon got down on the floor with her to introduce one of her fans. Even better, they had been calling the women Hannah, but her name is actually Megan.
But the fans weren’t the only ones who wanted to give a message to the comedian, so did Jimmy Fallon. On his Tonight Show stage, Jimmy Fallon jokingly said, “I’m on hormone pills.” But he did get serious and said something very sweet to the woman he’s known since age 23.
Fallon said, “I know firsthand you worked so hard and found a voice and found your way and you made your own dreams come true. And most importantly, even now you’re making other people feel like they can do the same thing and change the world.”
Tina Fey is one of the funniest women out there and inspires many men and women, including myself. She lets us know its cool to be yourself and make an empire out of it.
