Celebrities are sharing their memories of Avicii after learning of his death

The Swedish DJ passed away this morning at 28 years old. Everyone is using Twitter to get out their feelings including celebrities.

Our hearts are breaking over the death of Avicii today. His real name was Tim Bergling, and he passed away today at the age of 28. His publicist, Diana Baron, talked this morning about his passing.

This saddening loss has been trending on Twitter since this morning.  Many celebrities who took inspiration from the Swedish DJ are sharing their thoughts.

Jared Leto tweeted about his passing by saying his heart and thoughts are with everyone affected.

Even young artists are not immune to the loss of Avicii such as Noah Cyrus. Noah Cyrus said, “Brokenhearted. Such a huge musical inspiration to me and many others. will miss you so much. Rest In Peace Avicii.”

Many celebrities were close friends of the artist are sad like fellow DJ David Guetta.

David Guetta said, “Something really horrible happened. We lost a friend with such a beautiful heart and the world lost an incredibly talented musician. Thank you for your beautiful melodies, the time we shared in the studio, playing together as DJs or just enjoying life as friends.RIP.”

Ruby Rose wrote, “No Avicii … I can’t even begin to comprehend this. I adore you and I loved traveling and touring Europe with you. You were my friend and a beautiful person. Vegas and Ibiza memories will always be so special to me. RIP you were magic Avicii.”

She is talking about her opening for Avicii in 2015, prior to the artist’s stoppage of any tours. This shows that everyone from fans to artists are already missing the “Wake Me Up” artist.

One Direction member Liam Payne and DJ Zedd also took to Twitter among the other celebrities:

Plenty of fans have also spoken out about Avicii’s death — you need not look further than the Twitter trends to show how many people are expressing their grief today.

The Swedish DJ gave us his spirit, talent and music that inspires us all. We are all sad today and our hearts go out to all of his friends and family.
