Can you beat Anthony Mackie and Winston Duke at these Spanish tongue twisters?

Avengers: Infinity War’s Anthony Mackie and Winston Duke appeared on the morning show Despierta America to try their hand at tongue twisters in Spanish, and the two did quite well.

We might need to watch Avengers: Infinity War with English subtitles on now that we know Anthony Mackie and Winston Duke have a knack for the Spanish language.

Duke, who plays Black Panther favorite M’Baku, and Mackie of Captain America fame appeared on the Spanish-language morning show Despierta America to show off those skills. The hosts of the show set up a special game for the two: a round of reciting Spanish tongue twisters.

From the get-go, they barely seemed reluctant and were ready for the “trabalenguas” (tongue twister) challenge.

“Trabalenguas?” Mackie asked. “Okay, I got this… I’ll do the first sentence, you got the second,” he said to Duke.

They both tackled the first tongue twister, which featured a bunch of rolled double Rs that could certainly trip anyone up. The duo tag-teamed reading it and barely stumbled over their words. But, I mean, they’re superheroes after all. So of course they’d be amazing at anything they do.

The second tongue twister went off without a hitch either. “Great accent,” one of the hosts said in congratulations to Duke.

“What does it mean?’ Mackie asked after reading the second trabalengua.

“It means, ‘The Falcon is wonderful,'” Duke joked. Yeah, let’s just leave it at that. The Falcon is pretty awesome, and we know he and M’Baku are gonna kick some series but in Infinity War.

You can try the tongue twisters for yourself from Despierta America’s Instagram account.

The first reads:

"Erre con erre cigarro, erre con erre carrill,rápido corren los carros, por los rieles del ferrocarril."

And the second tongue twister they recited goes:

"Pablito clavó un clavito.Un clavito clavó Pablito.¿Qué clavito clavoó Pablito?"
