The CW released an interview with Bob Morley in anticipation of the fifth season of The 100. It sounds as though Bellamy will deal with some internal conflicts in the episodes to come.
The long-awaited fifth season of The 100 will air in a little over a week and The CW has released multiple trailers during the last month in anticipation of the upcoming premiere. As of yesterday, the official Youtube channel of the CW also posted an interview with Bob Morley, the actor who plays Bellamy Blake.

Reflecting on the fourth season finale
The interview opens with several clips from the previous season finale and leads into Morley’s perspective on the events that occurred. Morley succinctly describes where the show left off, stating:
"It kind of closes out with Raven and the crew and Bellamy thinking that Clarke had died for them, and that they have to wait it out for six years to go down and see what’s actually happened to everyone else under the bunker."
From this statement, it seems that Bellamy will be spending a lot of his time on the Ark thinking about those he left behind. As Morley points out, Bellamy and Raven believe Clarke sacrificed her life for them. There’s no way Bellamy won’t be brooding over that for the six years that follow.
He’ll also be wondering what has become of his sister in her efforts to govern the grounders beneath the Earth. With no communication available, he’ll have no idea whether the group managed to survive the Death Wave or the years afterward. Knowing Bellamy’s instincts to protect Octavia, the silence is not likely to sit well with him.
What’s in store for Bellamy this season
As for the fifth season, Morley didn’t directly give much away. He did, however, hint that Bellamy has some intense and emotional scenes in store for us. After crediting the show for allowing him to “develop as an actor,” he went on to say:
"Jason and the writing team put together some scenes for me, which are really amazing. I’ve had some real crackers this season."
We’re willing to bet some of those “crackers” involve reunions with the characters mentioned above. Jason Rothenberg has a knack for building up tension and angst while the crew is apart, then showering fans with heartfelt reconciliations. It’s doubtful this season will be any different.
