Harry Potter and the Battle of Hogwarts Fan Theory, how could we have missed it?

The latest theory to surface centers around Harry Potter and the Battle of Hogwarts and it makes you really wonder how you missed it after all this time.

It’s been seven years since the Harry Potter movies came to an end. Seven years and yet there are still fan theories being made. I swear, I’ll be long gone and there will still be theories coming out. Thing is, they are pretty good theories as well. This latest one to come out is about Harry Potter and the Battle of Hogwarts and once you have had it pointed out to you, you can’t help but wonder how on earth you missed it.

So the theory goes that during the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Before we learned the full truth about Snape and before Harry took that long walk into the forest to meet his ultimate fate. As Harry, Ron and Hermione dodged their way through flying curses and spells, Death Eaters and menacing creatures, a sequence of events unfold that will make you gasp in surprise.

Here is the clip, let’s see if you can spot the sequence before I explain it:

Think you spotted it? Here is how the sequence goes.

Harry Potter and the Battle of Hogwarts Fan Theory

As our trio run into the Hogwarts courtyard they come up against a troll wheeling around a club. They dive inside a Hogwarts bell that has fallen to the ground, avoiding the blow from the Trolls club. A similar moment from when they encountered the Troll in the bathroom in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

After avoiding the troll they encounter Aragog’s babies and flee from them. Recalling the moment Harry and Ron fled from Arogog and her children in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Next, they come across Fenrir Greyback who has just killed Lavender Brown. A werewolf who has ambitions of becoming a Death Eater. The exact opposite of Professor Lupin who they discovered was a werewolf in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Dementors then show up in huge numbers. Dementors did feature in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban but they also featured in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

More from Harry Potter

The current Order of the Phoenix then show up casting a Patronus and sending the Dementors away. That’s your Order of the Phoenix connection.

And last but not least they then make their way to the where Snape, a.k.a The Half-Blood Prince is.

A wonderful connection to al the previous Harry Potter titles in the space of one minute. Was it deliberate? I honestly have no idea. If I get an answer I’ll update this post but for now I’ll take the guess that it was as it is a way too coincidental to not be.
