The new book covers by illustrator Brian Selznick for the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter have been unveiled.

Harry Potter turns 20 this year, and in celebration of the J.K. Rowling novels hitting such a huge milestone, new book covers have been designed by illustrator Brian Selznick. It was announced earlier this year that new Harry Potter 20th anniversary covers would be designed and now they have been unveiled.

Released earlier today, Tuesday, April 10, by Scholastic publishing, the seven new covers for the Harry Potter series are black and white designs that when placed together, side by side, form a long mural.

The new designs are set for release on June 26 and are the beginning of the year-long celebration since “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” was first released, 20 years ago. Illustrator Selznick is also designing a collectable box set that is due for release later this year, around September.
