Harry Potter fans rejoice! Original cast members from our favorite magical series are set to voice their iconic roles in the mobile game.
Get your wands ready because a new Harry Potter video game is on its way. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, created by Jam City, is your chance to receive a letter to your favorite magical school. In this role-playing mobile game, you’ll be sorted into a Hogwarts house, live in the castle and of course, go to classes.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is set in the 1980’s, before the infamous original storyline. You can personalize an avatar and experience Hogwarts first-hand. Basically, a dream we’ve all had since 1998 (or 1997 if you were lucky to get a year earlier in the UK). New information is coming out about who will be voicing the professors and other characters in the game.
The perfect and amazing Dame Maggie Smith will be reprising her role as Professor McGonagall. Dame Maggie Smith loves the game, revealing in a statement what she’d love to do if she was a student at the prestigious school of witchcraft and wizardry.
“If I could attend Hogwarts as a student, I would be most excited to attend the potions class taught by Severus because it is the most exotic,” Smith exclaimed.
But Smith isn’t the only original cast member you will hear.
Some of the cast members lending their voices to the game are Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore), Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey), Sally Mortemore (Madam Irma Pince), Warwick Davis ( Professor Flitwick), and Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch).
If you know these characters, then you know what exciting things are to come in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Think about it: Madam Hooch is the Quidditch coach so does that mean we get to dominate on a broomstick? It seems like it because the more you play, you will unlock new areas and things to learn!

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will launch on April 25 and will be available across all platforms.
