Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald screenplay date confirmed!

If you loved reading the script for the first Fantastic Beasts novel, you’ll love this news about the second movie’s screenplay.

Very few movies will release the scripts. None have released the screenplay as a book for the fans on the same day as the theatrical release. That is until last year, when Little, Brown released the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to purchase. Fans are still buying it today, proving that it was the best move to make. Now the publisher is doing the same with the second book.

Little, Brown has finally confirmed the one thing we’d all hoped. The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald screenplay will be released in stores on the exact same date as the movie is out in theaters. That means you’ll get your hands on it on November 16, 2018. If for any reason you can’t make it to the theaters, you can at least get hold of the screenplay and give it a read. What better news could you want?

Well, how about this: Pottermore will release the eBook version of the screenplay. This is now confirmed as being released on the same date as the movie release, according to TheBookSeller.com.

There’s a chance the publisher will continue this for the future. The first screenplay sold almost 420,000 copies through the Nielsen BooksScan. It has become the second biggest-selling playscript of all time. And the one ahead of it? Well, it’s another one connected to your favorite franchise: “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”

Five movies in total are planned for the Fantastic Beasts series. The one coming out in November will be the second one. J.K. Rowling hasn’t decided on the full stories for each of the movies and Eddie Redmayne, who plays main character Newt Scamander, stated that he wasn’t even sure if he was going to be in all five because Rowling doesn’t know.
