“Quidditch Through the Ages” goes audio with the aid of a Zombie survivalist

Andrew Lincoln, star of The Walking Dead, lends his voice to “Quidditch Through the Ages.”

Written back in 2001 in aid of Comic Relief, Kennilworthy Whisp’s “Quidditch through the ages” by J.K. Rowling has been a solid addition to many Harry Potter fans book collection. Filled with the sort of details you didn’t know you wanted to know until you knew them. The book about the most popular Wizarding sport it is a fun read from start to finish.

Starting from today “Quidditch through the ages” is available in a completely new version, audio. Read by a man who has avoided his fair share of Zombies, Andrew Lincoln, best known as Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead is a long time fan of Harry Potter who provided his voice for the audio version.

The actor clearly enjoyed himself as well. In an interview with Pottermore, the actor showed of his knowledge about the Wizarding sport, including his Quidditch favorite team, and his favorite characters to voice.

It’s not only Lincoln’s voice you can hear in the audiobook. Bonus features totalling up to an hour and a half of content that was written for Pottermore in 2014 by J.K. Rowling is also included. You can hear both Imogen Church, as Ginny Potter, and Annette Badland, as Rita Skeeter, narrating the 2014 World Cup.
