Supernatural’s Sam and Dean Winchester are about to be magically transported into the world of Scooby-Doo and they will be wishing they can cast these 5 Harry Potter spells.

Any Harry Potter fans who are also fans of the CW/E4 TV series Supernatural will know exactly what I am talking about when I say, “ScoobyNatural.”

For those who are not familiar with the series, or are maybe a little bit behind, the story of Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers who have followed their father’s footsteps into the family business by fighting Supernatural creatures like demons, monsters and gods, is about to take an interesting turn.

More from Harry Potter

A crossover with Supernatural and Scooby-Doo is about to happen. The two brothers, Sam and Dean, are about to get zapped into the animated TV series and their latest predicament could probably do with a spell, or maybe two, from Harry Potter to help get them out of the situation.

Here are 5 Harry Potter spells Sam and Dean Winchester could do with in “ScoobyNatural.”

1: Finite Incantatem

The general counter-spell in Harry Potter, it has been used on several occasions to terminate the effects of a spell. It was used by Professor Severus Snape to counter the effects caused by students in the duelling club and Harry used it to cancel the effects of the Decendo spell.

Sam and Dean, provided they where wizards, could use Finite Incantatem to counter the spell of “ScoobyNatural.” It is classed for use on general spells so it may not work on powerful spells, like casting someone into an alternate, animated world.

2: Evanesco

The vanishing spell, a transfiguration spell that can vanish both animate and inanimate objects.

Sam and Dean may want to vanish themselves out of their scenario and this Evanesco could possibly do just that. Problem is, it is not 100% sure if they would vanish somewhere else, or disappear from existence. Technically when used it turns the vanishing target into non-being, so maybe they would want to avoid this one.

3: Aparecium

Used to reveal invisible ink and messages hidden by magical means, Aparecium the revealing charm, could be a handy one for Sam and Dean in “ScoobyNatural.” They are technically in a cartoon world so everything is made of ink. Casting this spell around would reveal everything and anything.

It could reveal vital clues on who put them in the world and, at the very least; the spell can be useful in helping the Scooby gang solve their current mystery.

4: Apparating and Disapparating

Using the transportation spell, where they would be able to disappear from one place and then reappear in another, would no doubt be the most useful Harry Potter spell for Sam and Dean. The brothers could just decide to leave the world of Scooby-Doo and transport themselves straight back to their own within seconds.

The only thing to stop them would be any counter charms to prevent Apparating / Disapparating, but other than that. This would be their golden ticket out of the world.

5: Protego

The last spell on the list would be the one to use to stop any of this from happening in the first place. Protego, the shield charm, creates a magical barrier that can defect spells being cast on you. Using this spell would prevent Sam and Dean from being transported into the animated world.

But, let’s be honest, we wouldn’t really want them to use Protego, at the very least we want to see them get stuck in Scooby-Doo land.
