Man Crush Monday: Adam Rippon is the most relatable Olympian ever

Man Crush Monday is our honored tradition, much like the Olympics, which is why our MCM this week is none other than Adam Rippon!

While our Man Crush Monday candidates have to be beautiful, sweet and well-rounded, this week, we’re focusing more on someone relatable. That’s why Adam Rippon is our choice for MCM! Mainly because he ate a ton of McDonald’s while in the Olympic Village. Honestly, that’s the dream right there.

Famous for his figure skating ability, he competed in the Winter Olympics this year and had us all falling in love. Especially when he threw out Meryl Streep jokes and had to pack up his crystals before leaving. It is more than that though.

He is unapologetically himself. He doesn’t sit around and make excuses. He just gives his best performances and works super hard for everything he has. His journey to the Olympics was one of the most inspirational and it made him a hit with American audiences.

So much so that he ended up (almost) being a correspondent by the end of the games, but at least he and Leslie Jones did a whole segment together. And don’t even get me started on his skating outfits. They’re a sparkling dream.

Basically, he’s perfect. He’s relatable, he’s cute, and he doesn’t pretend to be anything other than himself. And that’s pretty inspiring. It also helps that he’s probably one of the funniest Olympians we’ve ever had. Honestly, if he wanted to have his own television show, I’d watch it no questions asked. It’d be perfect.
