J.K. Rowling stopped being an author and the creator of the Wizarding Word to be Scotland Rugby commentator, unofficially.

Scotland went up against their biggest rivals England yesterday in their six nations rugby match known as the Calcutta Cup. Scotland was hosting the match at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and it finished with a historic win for the Scottish side as they won the game 25 – 13, the first win for Scotland against England for ten years.

J.K. Rowling was at the match as a fan but soon turned into an unofficial commentator. She tweeted throughout the match and Harry Potter fans might have possibly been a bit confused what was going at the time as Rowling tweeted her thoughts and the score during the game.

Rowling had to hold back a bit

As the game got underway and the Scottish fans got excited at how well their team was doing, so did Rowling. That went the other way as well. In the second half of the match, it got much tenser between the two sides and Rowling had to hold back a bit on what she wanted to say / Tweet.

You can see via her Tweets that she was asked not to say what she wanted to. If you are honest with yourself though, you want to know just as much as we do.

While Rowling was unable to Tweet everything that happened during the match it was certainly entertaining and for some, highly informative. Not all of us were able to watch the match so took to Twitter to find out as much as we could and Rowling was doing a fantastic job of commentating.
