Get your step on and help your Hogwarts house win the league!!!

Calling all Potter fans. If you fancy getting involved in a good cause and want to represent your Hogwarts house at the same time then check out the Nation’s Billion Steps Challenge. The challenge, which sees Pottermore and Sport Relief come together, allows participants to earn house points with every step they take.

The UK based charity raises money for a variety of causes and is hoping that the challenge will not only help raise money for these causes but encourage people to become more active as well. Taking place between March 17th to March 23rd the Billion Steps Challenge aims to get the entire nation as a whole to walk one billion steps per day.

More from Harry Potter

It’s a huge challenge, but with Pottermore bringing the incentive of some house pride for the winning Hogwarts house, it is certainly possible.

Pottermore and Sport Relief join forces

Anyone wanting to take part only needs to download the free Sport Relief app and register an account. As soon as you register you can browse the app and check out all the various Sport Relief events/challenges.

To take part in the “Hogwarts House League”, visit the “Leagues” tab on the app, select the Hogwarts challenge and then select the Hogwarts house you want to represent. And that’s it, start walking and counting those steps and earning points for your house.

If you want to donate or raise money for Sports Relief, just go onto the “Raise” tab. You can then either donate directly or set up a sponsored page and help raise money with every step you make.

Pottermore is not the only league available. The “Hot Steppers League”, “Six Nations Rugby League” and the “Team Davina McCall” vs “Team Joe Wicks” are available as well.
