This Easter you can take a behind the scenes tour dedicated to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

If you are going to be in or around the Warner Bros. Studios in London this Easter then make sure you check out the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire behind the scenes tour.

The new feature, dedicated entirely to the fourth instalment of the Harry Potter movie franchise, will allow you to see what went on behind the scenes to make the movie, including character details, costumes and props. The Goblet of Fire itself is even being dusted off and put on display. It has been in storage since filming ended back 2010.

Demonstrations will be part of the tour

You will be able to get a close up look at the Goblet as part of the tour but you will need to pay close attention because there is actually two Goblets for two different purposes. For example, one was made to fire out the parchment paper to simulate the scene where the Goblet had chosen the school champions for the Triwizard Tournament. And if you ever wondered how they managed to do that then you are in luck. A special effects demonstration will be performed live for those who attend showing how this was actually done.

Visitors who take the Studio Tour can also see the Prefects Bathrooms taps. This might not sound very interesting at first but they are working like they did in the movie, running multicoloured water. A look at the secrets of Voldemort’s costume is part of the tour as well along with other new props and costumes; such as the Boot Portkey which Harry Ron and Hermione took to attend the 422nd Quidditch World Cup.

For the Dark Witch / Wizard, there is something for you to

If you are a bit of a dark witch/wizard then there is something for you too. The gravesite of Tom Riddle is on display, which, fun fact, had to be edited post-production as when it was first designed not everything was known about Riddles lineage. The addition of the Beauxbatons carriage with winged horses is also set to arrive.

The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire tour will run from March 30th – September 23rd this year so you have plenty of time to organize a trip if you fancy going. Tickets can be booked via the website. If you are planning on going you may want to consider taking the Harry Potter cruise which is based in London as well.
