Become the Witch or Wizard you desire to be with these Interactive Harry Potter wands!!!

Its been a busy year for Harry Potter at the New York toy fair. We have had Lego announcements, Funko announcements and now we have Interactive Harry Potter wands.

Unveiled by Jakks Pacific, the interactive wands allow you to practice your spell casting by using motion sensor technology. There are 11 spells in total that you can cast but in order to do so, you have to perform the correct wand movement. If you do manage to correctly perform the movement then the wand will light up and emit sounds based on the spell you cast.

More from Harry Potter

So prepare to feel a bit like Ron when Hermione showed him how to perform Wingardium Leviosa. If you don’t Swish and Flick correctly then you won’t be casting any spells.

You can interact with other wand users and more

Other than practising your own wandmenship you can take on other wand users. It’s called “Spell Practice” and it allows you and another player to go head to head in a competition of who can cast the spell quickest. Another feature of the interact wands is the ability to play “Wand Tag”, which is basically normal laser tag but with wands.
