Prepare yourselves for what may be another action sequence in Game of Thrones season 8, according to some fresh spoilers now circulating.

Warning: The Game of Thrones news is coming fast and furious now, and that does include spoilers.

Game of Thrones season 8 appears to have a northern focus in its early stages, thanks to not only yesterday’s news that the season will feature a town close to Winterfell, but today’s news from Watchers on the Wall that rounds up several different tidbits: namely, the Night’s Watch reportedly has a scene that requires its extras to get to work mastering stunts; Peter Dinklage is back in Belfast; and, perhaps most notably, the Winterfell crypt will return.

Let’s take things in order, though. First, it seems like we haven’t forgotten the Night’s Watch at all. WOTW jokes we likely won’t see them for very long, and we have to agree with that assessment. However, it won’t be the first thing we see. We know that much already. However, we have to guess that it might be in the first episode, perhaps as a massive closing sequence to remind us of what’s coming in season 8 and where we left off with season 7. It would make a good closing shocker of a scene for a season premiere.

As for Peter Dinklage, that’s not a shock, either. WOTW reminds us that Kit Harington is also on the scene. This makes us suspect that someone like Emilia Clarke might not be far behind, either, when it comes to being in Belfast. Perhaps even Sophie Turner or Maisie Williams might be on the way. In sort, keep an eye on what’s going on there as well, as it may tip us off to what kinds of scenes might be on the way.

Finally, WOTW reports that there will be two scenes in two episodes at minimum for the crypt. One has to wonder if one of these scenes involves Jon Snow and his actual-cousin Bran Stark, with Bran telling Jon who he really is and which of the Stark statues actually represents one of his parents. (It’s not Ned Stark.) WOTW only has the information that “two main characters discuss Ned’s death,” which makes us suspect that it could be a precursor to a Bran-Jon parentage scene but might feature Bran and someone else. It’s unclear at this point in time, alas, but hopefully we can hear more as filming continues.
