Haters are gonna hate and Taylor Swift is just going to continue to remain on top, a place where she knows she belongs.
Taylor Swift is back and her reign became evident during Bay Area’s Poptopia holiday concert on Saturday night (Dec.2). She was by far the main attraction and the best performance of the night after a powerhouse lineup, featuring Swift’s best friend Ed Sheeran. It’s no doubt that Swift lived up to the hype. After all, she’s Taylor Swift and is known for putting out A + performances throughout her career. Poptopia was no exception.
It’s hard to see how her ‘haters’ could actually hate her after hearing the best-selling album of 2017 and watching her put on the performance of her life, showing the world she is poised and ready to dominate 2018. There is not one negative thing to say about Swift and her performance ability, so yes, haters, you need to back off.
The 10-time Grammy Award winner kicked off the show with “…Ready For It,” and then went on to play a couple more ‘haters gonna hate’ tracks including “Blank Space,” and “Shake It Off”. She then went into an acoustic set, performing the Grammy-nominated track “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”. All in all, while she was only a few songs in, Swift put her vocal ability on perfect display. But that wasn’t the end of the iconic performance. The songstress brought out best friend Ed Sheeran to sing the hit from reputation “End Game”. That in itself was a sight to see.
Throughout the night, Swift was fierce and feisty, not letting anything get her down. And without any hesitation, Swift brought her set to a close with her powerhouse anthem “Look What You Made Me Do,” leaving the crowd wanting more. All in all, we don’t think Swift will be going anywhere soon. Just wait until she remains triumphant and victorious in 2018.
