Thanksgiving may now be over but that doesn’t stop us from celebrating something special that happened during the holiday during the Speak Now era.

If you’ve been falling Taylor Swift since the Speak Now era, then you know about the spectacular Thanksgiving special Swift had during the holiday during its album launch. In 2010, the songstress held a one hour special via NBC, taking fans behind-the-scenes of everything Speak Now.

The special follows Taylor around during some incredible Speak Now festivities and one-of-a-kind performances everywhere from Central Park to on top of a tour bus in downtown Hollywood. Songs included in the special are “Haunted,” “Mean,” “Enchanted,” “Mine,” “Sparks Fly,” “Story of Us,” “Long Live,” “Back to December,” and the title track “Speak Now”. The special also takes her fans behind-the-scenes of the making of the album.

Not to mention, Swift also took time to tell her fans some of the lessons, stories and inspirations behind each of her songs, and we even see her perform “Haunted” in a haunted house on Halloween. It’s a spectacular special and if you haven’t had the chance to watch it yet, we highly suggest you look for it and give it a chance. It’s well worth it.

"“You write about things nobody knows you went through,” Taylor told The Boot. “My main focus when I’m writing a song is the person I’m writing it about, what they’re going to think of it and them knowing what I feel about them. A lot of times, they don’t know exactly what I felt. Somehow I feel more comfortable saying it all to them in a song … that many more people are going to hear than if I just sent a text message! [laughs] But that’s just how I feel more comfortable expressing myself.”"
