Can’t wait for Thor: Ragnarok? Have some more clips
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters in just a few weeks. Some fans can’t wait that long. If you’re among them, we have some fun clips for you.
We may have just mentioned yesterday our excitement for the next two Marvel Cinematic Universe films. With Thor: Ragnarok just over two weeks away, its marketing has kicked itself into full gear. Commercials flood the television waves.
And we, for one, welcome our new Asgardian overlords. This next outing for Thor looks like the comic book insanity we have always craved. Plus we get that bit of Planet Hulk mixed in for which fans have asked since The Avengers.
So if you can’t wait two and a half weeks to see Thor and Hulk’s Excellent Adventure, don’t worry! The internet has the cure for what ails you.
Check out the three new clips below, and if you might need a spoiler warning, turn away now!
Okay, so the quality isn’t the best on these, and we’ve seen two of the three scenes in some chopped up fashion.
The first is the big one that sets everything into motion: Hela destroying the Mjolnir. I’m almost more impressed with her stopping it in its tracks than the actual destruction. How badass do you have to be to stop it with your bare hands?
The second clip, released prior to this compilation, has Taika Waititi’s Korg giving Thor some perspective on his recent loss. Because of course losing Mjolnir equates to losing a loved one. Why wouldn’t it? The hammer has done so much for Thor.
The third clip is the one that everyone quotes and posts gifs of: the reveal of Hulk to Thor in the gladiator ring. His “friend from work” goads on the crowd while Thor gleefully points out Loki up in the stands with the Grandmaster. Loki’s pointed throat clearing cracked me up. Now the next question is: how long until we get to see Loki get thrown around by Hulk a la Avengers? Because you know it’s going to happen.
Next: Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok might be some of Marvel’s best
Needless to say, Thor: Ragnarok looks highly entertaining and we cannot wait to see it in full on November 3rd.
