Gal Gadot was inspiring at the 92Y event in her and Meher Tatna’s honor

Much like Diana herself, Gal Gadot is an exceptionally inspiring woman. And the 92Y Q&A with her and Meher Tatna was everything we women wished for.

It is always a pleasure seeing Gal Gadot in person. Especially at an event target towards her career and how she ended up becoming one of the top billed actresses of our time. While the Q&A was split between Gadot and Meher Tatna, it truly showed how remarkable both women are.

What I love about the 92Y is that they don’t let you ask your own questions. A lot of the time, it is a card based system. You pass the questions up and the moderator asks them. It takes out the weird “can you get me a job” questions but it does stop fans from really having a moment with someone they idolize, which is a downfall.

At this Q&A, it was quite nice. Most of the questions were about how it felt to be a woman of significance and (more specifically to Gal), how it felt to be Wonder Woman. There was a question about her diet that somehow got through the screening process and was asked. While it was annoying, Gal, much like the amazing woman she is, made light of it and was ever the professional.

Gal and her daughters

My question was about what lessons Gal hoped her daughters would take from Wonder Woman. Throughout the evening, some of the topics led to Gal bringing up her two young children. She talked about balancing her life with them and how Alma was proud when Wonder Woman got such good reviews.

So when my time came, her answer was just as inspiring as she is. She said that she hoped they’d take that they could do anything they wanted from it and, to me, that was the best part of the evening.

Of course it was crazy and there were autograph hounds waiting, so fans of Gal Gadot didn’t have a chance to really meet their favorite star but other than the typical Q&A chaos, it was truly a wonderful moment and to hear her speak is something awe-inspiring.
