Hufflepuffs get a bad rap but really, they’re some of the best!

When it comes to houses you don’t want to be a part of, Hufflepuffs are normally the last on everyone’s list of cool people. But that’s not true at all!

To all the Hufflepuffs out there, I apologize on behalf of the entire Harry Potter fandom. We give you guys a hard time. Yes you are particularly good finders but being loyal is not something to scoff at. Cedric Diggory was one of you and without his help, Harry would have never succeeded in the second task of the Triwizard Tournament.

From the dawning of the Hogwarts houses, Hufflepuff was the one that no one wanted to be a part of. Why? Well, probably because everyone saw Hufflepuffs as just boring people they couldn’t place in a cool house. Which isn’t true at all.

Not only do you all have Cedric, but you also are filled with countless witches and wizards who would do anything for their fellow people. Just look at the Battle of Hogwarts. How many amazing Hufflepuffs lost their lives that day defending what they loved and believed int?

Not to mention that Hufflepuff’s common room is next to the kitchen! And who doesn’t want free access to the kitchen all hours of the night? But more than that, Tonks was a Hufflepuff. She isn’t to be messed with, maybe the most loyal of you all, and that makes it pretty cool to be a part of this house.

Every Hogwarts house has important members and reminds us of what it means to be a part of it but still, it sucks that Hufflepuffs get such a bad rap. They’re not lame or the worst house. Rowling is one of them so without her, we wouldn’t have any of the other houses to even be a part of.

So go out there and be nice to the Hufflepuffs. After all, they could take away the food from everyone and then what do we really have? But they wouldn’t do that because they’re the best.
