Star Wars Galactic Nights at Hollywood Studios: Christmas comes early for Star Wars fans
Star Wars Galactic Nights returns to Hollywood Studios on Dec. 17. Will Star Wars fans flock to this Star Wars special event?
After a triumphant first run, Star Wars Galactic Nights returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this holiday season. Just two days after Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will host a Star Wars Galactic Nights special after-hours event. But don’t delay on buying these limited availability tickets.
According to Disney Parks, the Galactic Nights event returns to Hollywood Studios on Dec.17. For just “$129 plus tax for adults and $124 plus tax for children ages 9 and under” fans will get special admission to the park from 7 p.m. till midnight. Earlier in 2017, Hollywood Studios hosted a similar event with huge crowds. This additional event will surely be another success.

During the Galactic Nights event, guests will enjoy many of the popular Star Wars themed activities. Popular rides, Jedi Training and character encounters will be available. Also, the evening will have special performances, an event hub, and photo ops. The highlight of the evening will be the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular night-time show.
One can’t miss special food event will be the Skywalker Vineyards Wine Seminar. Skywalker Vineyards is George Lucas’ winery. It produces some of the best California wines. During the seminar, guests will learn about the wine making process and taste the impeccable wine. The seminar is free and attendees can purchase wines to take home.
Additionally, guests can enjoy the Galactic Tasting Sampler. Guests choose five tasty Star Wars themed treats in the park. While the exact treats aren’t known yet, some options include lightsaber churros, character cupcakes and specialty beverages. These treats will make the best Instagram photos. This dining package is $30 and requires a ticket to the Galactic Nights event.

If you can’t attend the special Galactic Nights event, don’t be too sad. Many of the events are available every day at Hollywood Studios. The Rebel March takes place several times a day in the front of the park. Character meet and greets are always available at Launch Bay.
This event is more about bringing together Star Wars fans for a special event. The camaraderie of a large gathering of fans makes this event special. Yes, the special panels, food options and light show will be quite entertaining, but the cost can be prohibitive for some fans. Some people might want to save for the opening of the highly anticipated Star Wars Lands.
