Emmys 2018: 5 people who should host

The Emmys have had some great hosts in the past and Colbert did a good job. But who should host the show in the future? We’re looking at the best 5.

When it comes to hosting, the Emmys can be a huge hit or a flop based on who is in charge. So while Stephen Colbert did a pretty great job, we’re going to take a look at five hosts (or really seven) that we want to see take over the show!

Again, Colbert did incredible. But wouldn’t any of these wonderful celebrities be great as well?

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

We know they’re incredible hosts so why not have them come to the Emmy stage and take a stab at it? Really, neither are on shows right now and it would just be a fun time for them! And we love their jokes so why not?

Rachel Bloom

As someone who loves Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and everything about her, I think Rachel Bloom would be an incredible host. If it is anything like her brief moment of fangirling at the Tony awards, it  would be the kind of show we fans dream of.

Nick Kroll and John Mulaney

Okay they don’t have to be in character from Oh Hello but still, these two hosting would be pretty fun. People would probably get upset and someone would say something they shouldn’t but it would still be a show for the ages.

Ellen DeGeneres

Listen, we all love Ellen. We love what she chooses to do on her show and how she hosts award shows already. So let’s get her to the Emmys. It’d be fun all around and there would probably be a selfie, pizza and dancing. What’s not to love?

James Corden

Now granted, maybe this is because I’m so proud of Craig from Doctor Who but I personally would love if he hosted. He’d sing, he’d dance, he’d crack jokes and it’d be a fun time for all.
