The true boss of Harry Potter isn’t the three main characters, it’s Neville Longbottom.
Okay, so I’ve written this article three different ways, and I didn’t like how any of them came out. But then I stumbled across this quote and I finally have something to write about! How much of a boss Neville Longbottom is.
I had completely forgotten that this happened:
"Lord Voldemort: “You show spirit and bravery, and you come of noble stock. You will make a very valuable Death Eater. We need your kind, Neville Longbottom.“Neville: “I’ll join you when hell freezes over! Dumbledore’s Army! “— Neville bravely rejects Voldemort‘s offer to join him via wikipedia"
Neville Longbottom was such a boss, such an outstanding person. So outstanding not only did he end the Wizarding War finally by killing Nagini, the final Horcrux, but he was actually wanted by Voldemort as a Death Eather. Even Voldemort couldn’t deny how incredibly loyal and brave Neville was.
I have to admit that even though I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, I have only read the seventh book a couple times, so this slipped my memory. But I’m in SHOCK right now! How amazing do you have to be to one of the most important members of Dumbledore’s Army, but still be able to have Voldemort be willing to ignore it because he was so noble and brave?
Character Development
The biggest part of this is the amazing character development between the first book and the seventh. In the first book, had Neville come face to face with Voldemort, he probably would have peed his pants and said yes, just like the rest of us. Voldemort practically made his life the miserable life it was.
Voldemort made his life hell, but eventually, between finding friends in Gryffindor, and finding what he loved (Herbology), he was able to start to heal. He was able to find a good life, despite his childhood.
He was never the coolest kid, which is what makes him different from Harry. Neville struggled in every aspect, but came out on top.
