You’re going to want to buy the Wonder Woman Blu-ray just for the special features

While the film will also be available digitally or on standard DVD, you might want to just go ahead and pick up the Wonder Woman Blu-ray for all its special features.

Now that we know when Wonder Woman will be available on Blu-ray this September, it’s time to find out what the special features will look like. I mean, we assume it should be pretty awesome just because the movie itself was amazing and deserves all kinds of praise for its brilliance. There are so many aspects that were done so well, any fan would want to see how it all came together.

Of course, Gal Gadot makes an amazing Wonder Woman. But she didn’t push that movie past $400 million domestically all by herself. Patty Jenkins, the second director to board the project, executed a vision that aligned perfectly with how many of us see Wonder Woman. And she did that off a script written by Allan Heinberg, who also developed the story with Geoff Johns and Zack Snyder. Plus, it’s not like the movie’s only about Wonder Woman. The story also follows Steve Trevor’s heroic journey, along with Samir, Charlie, Chief, Etta, and the Amazons.

Lucky for us, the Wonder Woman Blu-ray special features will dive into all of this.

Unlike the standard DVD, the Blu-ray will also include “Epilogue: Etta’s Mission.” In the short, Etta Candy “gets the boys back together for a secret mission that could impact humanity’s future”. While we don’t know if it’s a deleted scene, it sounds like it fits in with the end of the film perfectly. If anything, it might’ve been cut because it undermined Diana’s somber scene.
