Taylor Swift is reportedly dealing with her groping case “really well.”
While it surely isn’t pleasant to be thrust into the spotlight because of someone allegedly grabbing your butt, Swift has a great support system around her and is leaning on her mother, Andrea Swift, as her case continues to be heard in Denver.
“Taylor is dealing with the court case drama really well,” a source told Hollywood Life on August 8. “She’s pleased the trial is finally here, and she’s looking forward to soon being able to put it all behind her. This whole situation has been pretty upsetting and stressful, but Taylor is adamant that she is not going to allow a man to get away with disrespecting her, in any way.”
Taylor Swift’s mother is staying close amid her trial
“Taylor’s been leaning on her mom for support — she has been there right from the start, and she stands behind Taylor 100%,” the source continued. “Andrea is so proud of Taylor, of how strong and resilient she is, and she’s proud of how Taylor is making a stand for herself and for others and sending a strong message that it is never OK for men to inappropriately touch women.”
As fans may recall, Andrea Swift was also listed in DJ David Mueller’s case against Swift.
In his lawsuit, Mueller is requesting $3 million for Swifts alleged lies against him, which he claims led to his firing.
Taylor Swift is ‘focused’
According to another report, shared by People magazine earlier today, Swift appeared “focused and calm” as her attorneys and the attorneys of Mueller presented their opening statements to eight jurors.
