Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are separating and does love exist anymore?

Is it dramatic to say that love is dead after Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their separation? Maybe, but we’re saying it.

Look, celebrity relationships are hit or miss but there was one thing about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris’ marriage that we all agreed on: it was #goals. We loved them and their love for each other. Well, now it seems as if love is dead and we can’t have nice things.

That’s right, our favorite couple has announced that they are officially separating. Chris took to Facebook to announce the bad news last night and, as many could figure out, the internet was quite upset by this turn of events.

Not because we personally knew them but because they were a couple that we all believed in. Their love for each other was one that you could see in photos and in their interviews. So this news hit a lot of us hard.

Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. …

And as expected, the internet had a pretty hard time coming to terms with the news.

After all, if this couple who clearly loved each other can’t make it work, what does that mean for love for everyone else?

And of course, does that put our other favorite celebrity couples in jeopardy? Who else do we have to lose?

In the end, one positive thing to come out of this is that the two are remaining civil for their son Jack. In their public message, they talk about making sure to keep this within the family for the sake of their son.

"Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward"

So while love is dead and we don’t know what to do without one of our favorite “it” couples, we all should respect their family at this time.
